Ben-hail, ben-ha'-ll (Heb.)--son of strength; son of might; son of valor; son of integrity; son of virtue; son of ability; son of substance; son of riches.

A prince of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, whom the king sent to teach the book of the law of Jehovah to the people throughout the cities of Judah (II Chron. 17:7)

Meta. Ben-hail bespeaks the qualities of strength, might, courage, integrity, virtue, wisdom, and substance (.son of strength, son of might, and so forth). The spoken word must contain these qualities, that its truth may be impressed upon and become established in man's thought people.
