Metaphysical meaning of Jacan (mbd)
Jacan (A. V., Jachan), ja'-can (Heb.)--stirring up; making turbid; troubling; afflicting; oppressing.

One of the head men of Gad, in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and Jeroboam king of Israel (I Chron. 5:13).

Meta. A chief thought in the power faculty (Gad), at an early stage of the individual's conscious development of this faculty. This thought (in its realization of power) is tyrannical and oppressive (afflicting, oppressing) in its dealings with the other thoughts and faculties of the consciousness. This leads to unrest, rebellion, and distress in mind and body (stirring up, making turbid, troubling).
