Metaphysical meaning of Sadoc (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Sadoc (mbd)
Sadoc, sa'-doc (Gk. fr. Heb.)--right; straight; just; righteous; upright; good; justified; vindicated.

Named in the genealogy of Jesus Christ (Matt. 1:14). Zadok is the same name in the Hebrew.

Meta. The consciousness awakening to and laying hold of the true idea of righteousness and justice. True righteousness and justice measure up to the Christ standard of right, and that standard includes mercy; it involves the right relation of all one's thoughts, faculties, and powers to oneself as well as to people and the world without one.
