Metaphysical meaning of Zabdiel (mbd)
Zabdiel, zab'–d1–el (Heb.)--God is my gift; gift of God; God endows; dowry of God.

a Father of Jashobeam, who was the officer over the first course of twenty-four thousand men who served King David in the first month of each year (I Chron. 27:2). b A son of Haggedolim. This Zabdiel was overseer of a number of the priests who returned from the Babylonian captivity (Neh. 11:14).

Meta. The idea signified here is that God, Spirit, being omnipresent in man and in all creation, has given man, or is to man, all–life, all–intelligence, all–substance, all–power, all–Truth--everything that man can need and use in his unfoldment and growth into the full manifestation of the perfect image and likeness of God in which he was created in the beginning (God is my gift, God endows, gift of God, dowry of God).
