Metaphysical meaning of Eleph (mbd)
Eleph, e'-leph (Heb.)--union; power; strength; instruction; learning; one thousand, i.e., a very great number; an ox, i.e., one broken and trained, symbol of directed strength.
A city of Benjamin (Josh. 18:28).
Meta. Union with infinite strength, through understanding and faith. (An ox stands for physical strength; Benjamin relates to an active faith; learning bespeaks understanding.)
