ephphatha, eph'-pha-tha (Gk. fr. Aram.)--be thou opened; be opened; be thou unbound i.e., liberated.

A word that was used by Jesus when He healed the man who was deaf and who had an impediment in his speech (Mark 7:34).

Meta. An inner freeing, healing thought or word of the Christ that releases all tension in consciousness and opens the mind and the body to spiritual receptivity and wholeness.
