Metaphysical meaning of Hakkatan (mbd)
Hakkatan, hak'-ka-tan (Heb.)--the little one; the smaller; the lowly; the inferior; the younger; the junior.

Father of Johanan, and descended from Azgad. Johanan with one hundred and ten other male descendants of Azgad returned with Ezra from the Babylonian captivity (Ezra 8:12).

Meta. The thought that Hakkatan symbolizes is clearly expressed in Jesus' words recorded in Matthew 18:3, "Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven," and in Mark 10: 15, "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child he shall in no wise enter therein." It is that humble, lowly attitude of mind and that youthful thought of the child--full of hope and willing to unfold and to learn new things, willing to change the mind and to accept the true Christ ideas--which will set one free from all sense bondage and confusion (Babylon).
