Metaphysical meaning of Madmen (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Madmen (mbd)
Madmen, mad'-men (Heb.)--dunghill; manure heap.

A place in Moab that Jeremiah mentions in his prophecy of the destruction of Moab (Jer. 48:2).

Meta. The very low opinion (dunghill) that the carnal mind in man (Moab) entertains concerning man's true, higher, religious or spiritual, consciousness (Israel). This opinion must be cast out by the word of Truth (sword). "Thou also, O Madmen, shalt be brought to silence; the sword shall pursue thee."
