Metaphysical meaning of Peresh (mbd)
Peresh, pe'-resh (Heb.)--cleaning; separating; dividing; distinguishing; specifying; excrement; dung, so called from being thrown off, divided, separated.
Son of Machir by his wife Maacah, of the tribe of Manasseh (I Chron. 7:16).
Meta. That which has served its purpose in the consciousness and organism, and is no longer needed, but is due to pass away (separating, specifying, excrement) as a result of the activity of achir, father of Peresh (meaning sold, purchased, acquired, and signifying the right balance that must exist between that which is accepted into the consciousness of the individual and that which is ready to be separated and cast out).
