Meta. The wells that were dug by Isaac's herdsmen (Gen. 26:15-25) are inward sources of life that are opened up by joy (Isaac means laughter).
The well of living water (see John 4:10-14) in man is the fount of inspiration within his consciousness, which, when the seal is broken, flows forth peacefully, majestically--vitalizing and renewing mind and body. In this clear light of Truth we are conscious that life is never changing, eternal.
